Reports from Gaza indicated fighting in both the northern and southern regions of the strip, with involvement from the IDF Air Force, Navy, and Artillery.
In northern Gaza, IDF strikes targeted the Zeitoun area southeast of Gaza City, as well as northeastern sectors, with an IDF helicopter attacking eastern Jabaliya.
In southern Gaza, the IDF focused its operations primarily on Khan Yunis.
According to Gaza sources, IDF artillery targeted eastern and western areas of Khan Yunis. Additionally, reports mentioned two fatalities and 14 injuries resulting from an IDF strike east of Khan Yunis.
The IDF also targeted buildings in the Al-Amal areas and near Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, where fighting was reported in the vicinity of the hospital.
As of now, the IDF has not issued a statement regarding the operations in Gaza on February 26.
The IDF reported that within the past 24 hours, five Israeli soldiers sustained serious injuries in battles in the Gaza Strip, with no reported fatalities during this period.
Specifically, a fighter from the reconnaissance squad of the Tzanhanim brigade and a fighter from the Yahalom special engineering unit were seriously wounded in a battle in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, two soldiers from the 601st engineer battalion of the 401st Iqvot HaBarzel brigade were seriously wounded in a battle in the north of the Gaza Strip.
Lastly, an officer from the Tzanhanim brigade was seriously wounded in a battle in the south of the Gaza Strip. All wounded individuals were promptly evacuated to hospitals, and their families have been notified.
