Israeli defense system intercepts missile fired from Lebanon at aircraft
Military correspondent Doron Kadosh of Galei IDF radio station reported that the David's Sling missile defense system successfully intercepted a surface-to-air missile launched from Lebanese territory targeting an Israeli aircraft.
Kadosh mentioned that the IDF is likely to retaliate against targets "deep in Lebanon."
Additionally, at 08:43 on February 26, an alarm sounded in the Alon Tavor industrial area northeast of Afula, warning of a potential rocket attack. This was evidently in response to the deployment of an anti-missile missile against an airborne threat.
