Lebanese sources report that the IDF artillery conducted a series of strikes on targets in the El Hamames area in southern Lebanon, which is approximately one kilometer from Metula.

At 7:48-7:49 a.m., rocket warning alerts sounded again in the Upper Galilee, warning of rocket fire from Lebanese territory. Lebanese sources claimed that about 40 rockets were launched. One of the targets was the Mount Meron military base.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the shelling, stating that it was a response to yesterday's IDF strike on Hezbollah's anti-aircraft batteries in the Beqaa Valley.
