Voter turnout reaches 40.8% in municipal elections by 7:00 p.m.
By 7 p.m., voter turnout in local elections reached 40.8%, as reported by the All-Israel Election Monitoring Center, marking an increase from 49.2% in 2018.
The highest voter turnout was recorded in Deir Hanna (81.8%), Sajur (80.3%), and Yarka (77%).
Among large cities, Bnei Brak led with 50.6%, followed by Ashdod with 38.7%, Tel Aviv with 34.5%, Haifa with 32.8%, Beer Sheva with 30.6%, Rishon LeZion with 28.6%, and Jerusalem with 25.2%.
Most polling stations in the localities will close at 10 p.m.
