In response to Lebanon shelling, IDF strikes Hezbollah installations and missile sites
In response to the attacks, the IDF targeted Hezbollah terrorist organizations in the Ramya region of southern Lebanon, hitting a weapons depot and a weapons production facility.
During the night, the IDF also struck a Hezbollah weapons factory in the Khirbet Salama area.
Confirming the events, the IDF stated that approximately 10 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Israel on the morning of February 28, including into the Qiryat Shemona area.
Some of the missiles were intercepted by the Israeli missile defense system. In retaliation, missile launch sites on Lebanese territory were targeted.
