The IDF reports that as a humanitarian aid convoy entered the northern Gaza Strip, a large crowd of local residents gathered at the site, resulting in a stampede and looting of some of the humanitarian cargo. Dozens of people were injured as a result.

IDF soldiers, accompanying the convoy, were compelled to open fire when the crowd approached them. An investigation into the incident has been launched.

Earlier, the Gaza Ministry of Health (associated with Hamas) reported numerous casualties from Israeli military shelling of a group of civilians in the north-western part of the strip. Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, reported ten fatalities and dozens of injuries from the shelling.

Social media rumors circulated about up to 100 casualties from the shelling of civilians waiting for a humanitarian aid truck on Al-Rashid Street in western Gaza City.

Several photos and videos depicting casualties were shared, with approximately ten deceased individuals visible in these frames.
