The Magen David Adom emergency service reports that one of the two people killed earlier today in a terror shooting outside the West Bank settlement of Eli was 57-year-old Rabbi Yitzhak Zeiger.
Zeiger was a resident of Shavei Shomron in the West Bank and a father of three. He also volunteered with paramedic and rescue services in Judea and Samaria.
On Thursday, February 29, a Palestinian gunman, later identified as a member of the PA security forces, opened fire on a car with Israeli license plates at a gas station. Zeiger was killed, as well as a passenger in his car, a man in his 20s, who has not yet been named. The terrorist was killed by the owner of the Hummus Eliyahu snack bar located at the gas station.
