A terrorist opened fire on Israelis at a gas station near the West Bank settlement of Eli and was neutralized. The attack took place on Route 60 at the gas station at the entrance to Eli.
Two people have been killed, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance service. The male victims, in their 20s and 40s, respectively, were declared dead at the scene.
At least one gunman was shot at the scene by security forces, according to footage and first responders. He was reportedly armed with an M-16 rifle.
According to reports there were three gunmen. They were wounded. One of them hid inside the Hummus Eliyahu store located near the gas station. There is no indication of hostage-taking as there are no civilians inside the store. Another terrorist, apparently, has fled.
The troops are blocking roads and conducting a pursuit after additional suspects in the area. Suspected infiltration alarms sound in Eli following the terror attack amid fears of additional gunmen in the area.
