Cabinet members criticize Netanyahu's request for list of surviving hostages

According to Haaretz, some cabinet members are unhappy with Netanyahu's demand for a list of surviving hostages from Hamas as a condition for further negotiations, aimed at securing the release of the abducted individuals.

A source within the cabinet, who agreed to speak with journalists, believes that this condition, similar to the previous deal, could have been proposed during the discussion of the lists of those already released.

The publication's source stated that this requirement should not have hindered the progress of negotiations at this stage, noting that they are not the only ones holding this opinion.

Reports of cabinet members' disagreement with Netanyahu were also carried by other Israeli media, including the Kan-11 TV channel, on the evening of March 3.

On the night of March 3, Qatar informed Israel that Hamas had rejected the "Paris proposals" and had not provided a list of surviving Israeli hostages.

Consequently, it was decided that the Israeli delegation would not travel to Cairo to continue negotiations.
