During night IDF struck targets in north, south Gaza
On the night of March 3, the Israel Defense Forces continued operations in the Gaza Strip. Information on the progress of the military actions was solely received from Palestinian media in Gaza.
The numerous IDF strikes targeting locations across the sector resulted in multiple casualties and injuries. According to the reports, clashes took place both in the south and north sectors.
In the southern sector of Gaza, the IDF Air Force and artillery conducted strikes in Khan Yunis. Clashes and explosions were reported in the Hamad area of Khan Yunis, along with gunfire near a school in the Al Israa district of Khan Yunis. Air strikes targeted several buildings, including the Al-Alul family house in Al Israa, northwest of Khan Yunis; a structure in Al-Janine; and the Abu Anza family house in the As Salam area, east of Rafah. Reports indicated over ten fatalities and numerous injuries.
In the northern sector of Gaza, ground operations by the IDF and airstrikes were reported. Several buildings were targeted, including the Al-Kahlout family home in the As Saftawi area, north of Gaza City, and the Abu Wadi family home in Jabalia. Reports indicated over ten fatalities and numerous injuries.
Shortly after midnight, a rocket warning sirens sounded in the Kibbutz Kissufim.
The IDF has not yet issued a comment on the strikes.
As of the morning of March 3, there were no reports regarding Israeli military casualties in Gaza over the past 24 hours. Yesterday evening, three IDF soldiers were reported to be killed on March 1.
