IDF demolishes home of Dee family killer in Nablus raid
Home of a Hamas terrorist, Moaz al-Masri, who killed an Israeli-UK mother and her two daughters last year, was blown up in an overnight operation in Nablus by IDF on the night of March 4. Clashes between soldiers and local residents have been reported.
Moaz al-Masri and Hassan Qatnani opened fire at Lucy Dee, 48, and her daughters Maia Dee, 20, and Rina Dee, 15, as they drove through the northern Jordan Valley on April 7, 2023. The daughters were declared dead at the scene, while Lucy was rushed to a hospital in critical condition but died three days later. The Dee family were dual Israeli-British nationals living in the West Bank settlement of Efrat, just south of Jerusalem, after moving to Israel eight years ago.
Moaz al-Masri, Hassan Qatnani, and Ibrahim Jabr, who sheltered the terrorists, were killed in an Israeli military raid in the Old City of Nablus in early May following a lengthy manhunt. Qatnani's home was demolished on October 29, 2023.
Hamas leadership confirmed that they were members of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization.
