In Baqa al-Gharbiyye, unidentified individuals opened fire on a car using automatic weapons.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom reported that a man, approximately 60 years old, sustained injuries and passed away before the ambulance arrived.
The police stated that the identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
Significant police presence is currently at the scene of the incident, conducting a search for the shooter (or shooters), and investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to N12 news, a former member of the local council of Baqa al-Gharbiyye was the victim of the shooting.
