IDF announces death of another soldier killed in southern Gaza
The IDF has reported the death of Sergeant First Class Michael Gal, 29, from Jerusalem.
Gal, a member of the auxiliary company of the 450th Battalion, 828th Bislamach Training Brigade, was killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
Michael Gal previously served in the Givati brigade during his military service. He voluntarily joined a combat unit operating in the Gaza Strip.
Since October 27 (the start of the ground operation in Gaza), a total of 248 military personnel have been killed, including casualties in Gaza, near the border with Lebanon, and in Judea and Samaria, as a result of terrorist attacks on Israeli territory.
Since October 7, 588 IDF soldiers have lost their lives in the Hamas massacre and the subsequent war in Gaza.
