IDF detains 20 terrorist suspects in Judea and Samaria

On March 10, IDF forces, along with General Security Service (Shin Bet) and Border Police (MAGAV) officers, detained 20 terrorist suspects in Judea and Samaria.

The detainees were handed over to Shin Bet investigators for questioning.

The operations took place in Tulkarm, Nur Shams, and Qalqilya.

Mines laid along the route of the Israeli military were cleared during operations in the Tulkarm area.

In Qalqiliya, weapons and seven homemade bombs were confiscated during a search of the house of a wanted terrorist. The detainee, who offered armed resistance, also had weapons in their car. Additionally, approximately 150 thousand shekels intended for financing terror were seized.

Suspected terrorists were also detained in the villages of Wadi Siman and Mizra Anouani.

There were no casualties among the Israeli military personnel.

Since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, about 3,500 terror suspects have been detained in the Palestinian Authority, with more than 1,500 associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
