20,000 Muslims attend prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem
Kan Bet radio station reported that on the evening of March 12, the second day of Ramadan, approximately 20,000 Muslims participated in prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.
No emergency incidents were recorded.
During Ramadan, both the police and army increased patrols in the capital, particularly in the Old City areas. Thousands of police officers are maintaining law and order.
Additionally, a tent camp for security forces will be established near the Damascus Gate of the Old City.
