The IDF has confirmed reports from Lebanese media that on Tuesday, March 12, the Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes targeting bases belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization deep within Lebanon.
According to an official statement from the IDF, Israeli fighter jets struck two Hezbollah headquarters located in the Baalbek area. These buildings were noted to house missiles and other weapons used by terrorists for shelling Israeli territory.
The IDF stated that these attacks were in response to the shelling of the Golan Heights earlier in the day.
Additionally, terrorist targets in the Khiam and Bint Jbeil areas in southern Lebanon were also struck today.
