On the night of March 12, the Israel Defense Forces conducted operations in Judea and Samaria to prevent new terrorist attacks and detain or neutralize members of terror organizations.
The Palestinian Authority reported that Israeli forces operated in various areas, including Qalqilya, near Tulkarm, Ramallah (in Abu Shukheidim, Bir Nabala, and Shuqba), Hebron (in Yatta, Halhul, and ad-Dhahiriya), Nablus (in Urif), Jenin (in Arraba), and Bethlehem (in Marah Rabah).
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, two militants, including a 25-year-old militant from Kafr Qaddum, west of Jenin, were killed during clashes with Israeli forces in the Tulkarm area.
A terror suspect was detained in the village of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem.
In the village of Abu Shukheidim, north of Ramallah, Sheikh Mashoor Salama, a terror suspect, was detained by Israeli forces.
Armed clashes were reported during the operations. There is no information about casualties among Israeli soldiers in Judea and Samaria. The number of detainees is unknown.
The IDF has not commented on the events in Judea and Samaria on the night of March 12 yet.
