IDF strikes Hezbollah targets in Syria

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit has reported two attacks on Hezbollah military infrastructure facilities in Syria.

The military stated that the facilities were targeted following the collection and analysis of intelligence.

"The IDF holds the Syrian government responsible for all events occurring in Syria and will not allow Hezbollah to establish a presence in Syrian territory," the IDF press service stated in a release.

The monitoring group, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), reported that the strikes did not hit targets in the Qunaitra area, where Hezbollah-affiliated groups are stationed.

However, the explosions triggered the detonation of a minefield in the demilitarized strip zone controlled by UN forces.

According to SOHR, two individuals were injured in the Israeli military strikes.
