The pro-Iran Shia Islamist group Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed that on the evening of March 11, it allegedly carried out an attack on Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport using a drone.

The Al-Ahed News published the group's statement. "On Monday evening, fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked Ben-Gurion Airport using a drone," the document reads.

This information is not confirmed by any Israeli sources.

Similar claims by pro-Iranian militants in Iraq have been repeatedly made. They have claimed to have attacked an oil refinery in Haifa, launched UAVs at the port of Ashdod, and struck the port of Haifa. These statements have not been confirmed to date.
