14-year-old terrorist behind Jerusalem attack identified

Arab and Israeli media outlets have disclosed the name of the 14-year-old Arab terrorist who attacked a checkpoint south of Jerusalem earlier today.

The attacker has been identified as Muhammad Murad Abu Hamid.

As previously detailed, the assailant rode up to the checkpoint on a bicycle, brandishing a knife, and launched an attack on military personnel and security guards.

Initially, a civilian guard fired at the assailant, followed by military personnel. The attacker succumbed to injuries sustained during the incident.
