The IDF has announced that on Wednesday, following IDF and ISA intelligence, Israel eliminated a commander in Hamas's Operations Unit in Rafah. According to the statement, Muhammad Abu Hasna was targeted and killed by an airstrike.
Intelligence indicated that Hasna coordinated the activities of various Hamas units, as well as communicated with and activated Hamas field operatives. He headed the intelligence operations room, gathering information on IDF positions, which was used to plan and carry out attacks.
Hasna was a combat support operative in Hamas's military wing. He was also involved in taking control of humanitarian aid and distributing it to terrorists.
The military highlights that the elimination of this militant significantly undermines the capabilities of many Hamas units in Rafah.
