The IDF is continuing its operations in Judea and Samaria aimed at preventing new terrorist attacks and apprehending or neutralizing members of terrorist organizations.
According to Palestinian Authority sources, the Israeli military conducted operations in Jenin, Nablus, Hebron, and near Ramallah (specifically in Kafr Nima and Arura) on the night of March 13.
Armed clashes occurred during these operations.
In Jenin, near the Government Hospital, a local militant was killed and several others were injured during a shootout with the military.
Additionally, two out of five residents of the area who were wounded by border guards near Route 436 died before reaching a hospital in Ramallah.
Reports indicate that near the village of Burqin, west of Jenin, militants attacked IDF vehicles using improvised explosive devices. There are no reports of casualties among the Israeli military in Judea and Samaria.
In Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, the military arrested Sheikh Farhan Alqam. The total number of detainees is currently being clarified.
Military operations in Hebron included a search of the residence previously occupied by terrorist Fadi Jamjoum, resulting in the detention of his relatives. There are also reports that the military is preparing to demolish this residence.
Clashes with border police were reported in Shu'afat, north of Jerusalem.
As of now, the IDF has not provided any official comments regarding the events in Judea and Samaria on the night of March 13.
