On Wednesday, The Israeli Navy thwarted a sea-borne Hamas infiltration attempt by two scuba divers believed to be Hamas militants.
Military officials reported that the Palestinian scuba divers violated restrictions in place off the coast of the Gaza Strip. When they crossed beyond permitted boundaries, Israeli Navy forces opened fire at the suspected terrorists, forcing them to turn back and return to the coastal waters of Gaza.
