The Israeli military detected a border violation in the Mount Dov area. Radio station Kan Bet highlighted that there is no barrier or fence along this border stretch.
Following orders to apprehend the suspected terrorist, servicemen fired at the border intruder, injuring him. The Lebanese individual was transported to an Israeli hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to reports from Kan Bet radio, Israeli security forces suspect the individual to be a member of Hezbollah who, disguised as a shepherd, was gathering intelligence.
The deceased individual's body is currently being held in Israel.
