War and security cabinets approve of sending Israeli delegation to Qatar hostage talks
After three-hour discussions on Sunday night, the war and security cabinets have approved the dispatch of the delegation to Qatar for indirect talks about a temporary truce in Gaza and a hostage release.
The issue was also discussed prior to the meeting by the three-member war cabinet, which consists of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and former Chief of the General Staff Benny Gantz.
Radio station Kan Bet reported that both cabinets had approved the Israeli delegation's participation in the talks in Qatar. The delegation is scheduled to depart for Doha on Monday, March 18.
