The head of the UN Relief Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, has stated that Israel has informed the UN that it will cease allowing the agency to deliver humanitarian aid to the northern regions of the Gaza Strip.
In his X-blog, Lazzarini expressed dismay, stating, “Despite the tragedy unfolding under our watch, the Israeli Authorities informed the UN that they will no longer approve any @UNRWA food convoys to the north.”
Lazzarini accuses Israel of intentionally hindering relief efforts amidst a man-made famine, and he demands the immediate removal of all restrictions.
