Gideon Sa'ar, the head of the Tikva Hadasha party, issued a statement regarding his departure from the government.
He mentioned that Yifat Shasha-Biton has also submitted her resignation letter from the government.
"I can't be held accountable for the government's decisions if I don't have the ability to influence them. Our presence is of little use. We didn't come here to sit idly by," Saar stated.
The resignation will go into effect in 48 hours.
Therefore, Gideon Saar will be able to participate in the vote on the conscription law tomorrow, March 26th.
