IDF in Gaza: Air Force strikes 60 targets, Shifa and Al-Amal hospital operations
The IDF continues its ground operation in Gaza, operating in the north, center, and south of the strip. The operation continues at the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, with ongoing activities also occurring in the Al-Amal Hospital area in Khan Younis.
In the past 24 hours, the Air Force has targeted approximately 60 terrorist sites in the Gaza Strip, focusing particularly on missile launch sites.
The operation around the Shifa hospital and its vicinity involves the forces of the 401st brigade and the Shayetet-13 naval special forces.
Since the operation's inception, approximately 500 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists have been apprehended in the area, with weapons and ammunition confiscated.
The 98th Division forces and Shin Bet personnel are engaged in operations around the Al-Amal hospital and in the Al-Qarara area. Over the past day, numerous terrorists have been neutralized, and weapons and ammunition have been discovered.
Soldiers from the 7th Brigade, with the support of the Air Force, have eliminated several militants belonging to terrorist groups. Weapons and ammunition were also uncovered during these operations.
Meanwhile, fighters from the Nachal Brigade are active in the central Gaza Strip, where they have neutralized three militant groups in the past 24 hours. Unmanned aircraft were deployed to target the terrorists.
