According to the Kan 11 channel, Qatar and Turkey were ready to deliver humanitarian supplies to the northern areas of the Gaza Strip and parachute them from planes but were unable to obtain permission from Israel to do so.
The channel says nine countries have permission to parachute humanitarian aid into Gaza: the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, France, Singapore, and the Netherlands.
Permissions are granted to countries that cooperate with Israel in the security field. Qatar also does not support cooperation, and relations with Turkey sharply deteriorated after the start of the war and Erdogan's anti-Israeli statements.
