Family members of the hostages still held in the Gaza Strip are protesting in Tel Aviv. Hundreds of people have blocked the Begin Street near the Azrieli towers.
The protest is taking place against the backdrop of an interview given by released hostage Amit Soussana and published by The New York Times. She became the first woman to share details of the sexual assaults she endured at the hands of her Hamas captor.
Israeli media report that today the relatives of the abducted are more emotional, agitated, and concerned than usual, as they are deeply worried about 19 women who have been in the hands of terrorists for more than 170 days.
Protesters are also concerned because the latest round of hostage negotiations in Qatar collapsed, and the Israeli delegation returned home from Doha.
