IAF resumes its training program 'to increase readiness for war in north'
The IDF says the Israeli Air Force has resumed its training program, which was frozen at the beginning of the war.
It will focus on increasing the IAF's readiness for war in the northern arena and other arenas during prolonged combat. It will use planning and implementation of operational models and scenarios relevant to the characteristics of the various regions and threats.
The exercise program will include massive, long-range strikes, flying deep into enemy territory, and surprise exercises for the various units. All Air Force units will participate in the exercises.
The IDF emphasizes that the training program won't impede the operational activity in the war in the Gaza Strip and the integrated operations with the ground forces.
