Gaza Health Ministry reports 32,800 deaths since start of war
The Gaza Ministry of Health, which is affiliated with Hamas, reported on March 31 that since the war began on October 7, 32,782 people have been killed and 75,298 have been injured to varying degrees.
In the past 24 hours, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health, 77 people were killed and 108 were injured during the fighting in Gaza. The IDF stated that during this time, more than 80 airstrikes were conducted on Gaza targets, along with sniper activity, resulting in the deaths of numerous militants from terrorist groups.
It's important to note that information from the Gaza Ministry of Health cannot be independently verified.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has repeatedly emphasized its inability to confirm or deny the accuracy of the casualty data provided by the Gaza Ministry of Health. However, in January, The Lancet published an analysis suggesting that the data from the Gaza Ministry of Health may closely reflect reality.
According to IDF reports, dozens of militants from terrorist groups are being neutralized daily in Gaza. Since the conflict began, the IDF claims to have eliminated over 13,000 militants and their commanders in Gaza, while Hamas acknowledges the deaths of around 6,000 of its fighters.
The Gaza Ministry of Health's reports do not differentiate between civilian and militant casualties and attribute all casualties to IDF actions. However, many casualties result from actions by militants of terrorist organizations or other causes unrelated to the Israeli army's operations in Gaza.
