Hamas reports arrest of 10 'spies and provocateurs' from Ramallah's intelligence services
On Sunday, March 31, Hamas reported that 10 members of Ramallah's General Intelligence Service were detained in the northern Gaza Strip the previous night. Hamas claims they were sent to Gaza to cause chaos.
According to Hamas, these individuals received orders directly from Majed Faraj, the head of Palestinian intelligence.
A statement from the Palestinian Information Center suggested that the operation was a joint effort between Ramallah and Israel. It was allegedly agreed upon during a meeting between Palestinian intelligence officials and the Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet) held last week in an Arab country.
