The Office of the Prime Minister has announced that during a routine examination on Saturday, March 30, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was diagnosed with a hernia.
Following the doctors' recommendation, it has been decided that Netanyahu will undergo hernia surgery on the evening of March 31, at the end of the workday. The surgery will be conducted under full anesthesia.
In Netanyahu's absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Yariv Levin will assume the role of acting head of government.
