IDF spokesman silent on Quds Force Commander's elimination in briefing
On April 1, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari briefed on recent military actions in Gaza and the northern borders.
Hagari announced the completion of the operation at Shifa Hospital, where over 200 militants were killed and more than 900 detained, including 500 militants from Hamas and Islamic Jihad. He mentioned that the detained militants are providing valuable information.
Blaming Hamas for the hospital's destruction, Hagari said there were more militants than doctors and patients combined, totaling no more than 300.
Regarding the strike on the naval base in Eilat by an Iraqi drone, Hagari said, "An Iranian-controlled drone struck a structure at a naval base last night. We're investigating."
Hagari also mentioned the approval of the combat plan for the Northern District Command by the Chief of the General Staff. He emphasized the importance of following Home Front Service instructions for civilians.
Hagari did not address the reported elimination of two high-ranking Iranian Quds Force officers in Damascus when asked by journalists, stating that the IDF does not comment on reports from foreign media.
