The Prime Minister's Office announced that Benjamin Netanyahu, recovering from hernia surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, will stay one more day based on doctors' advice.
He's set to be discharged on Tuesday, April 2, in the afternoon.
Officials from the Prime Minister's Office said he's in good condition and still working from the hospital.
On March 31, the government office stated Netanyahu was diagnosed with a hernia during a routine check-up on March 30. Surgery was recommended and scheduled for later that evening after he finished his work day.
The surgery was done under full anesthesia. During Netanyahu's recovery, Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Yariv Levin was appointed acting head of government.
