The Office of the Prime Minister of Israel reports that Israel's delegation, made up of Mossad, Shin Bet, and IDF officials, will return from Cairo after another intensive round of negotiations.
"During the negotiations, with the effective mediation of Egypt, the mediators put together an updated proposal for Hamas to address. Israel expects the mediators to act more forcefully against Hamas to move the negotiations forward toward a deal. The State of Israel continues to make every effort to release the hostages held by Hamas and return them to Israel," says the PMO.
