On the night of April 3, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continued their operations in the Gaza Strip. Updates on the night's fighting came solely from sources within Gaza.

Throughout the night, reports from Gaza indicated IDF strikes targeting the southern part of the strip. No attacks were reported in the northern and central sectors.

In the southern sector, IDF strikes were reported near Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, and artillery bombardment hit targets in the center and west of Khan Yunis.

As of now, the IDF has not issued any comments regarding the April 3 fighting in Gaza.

Early in the morning, the Tzeva Adom alarm sounded in the Kissufim area near the Gaza Strip border, signaling shelling of Israeli territory.

It's worth mentioning that for the second consecutive night, there's a sense that the intensity of hostilities in Gaza has decreased.

This could be linked to the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the mistaken IDF strike on the vehicle of the international charity World Central Kitchen.
