Several injured in Kokhav Ya'ir village car terror attack

Near Kokhav Ya'ir village, just seven kilometers from Kfar Saba, a Palestinian driver ran over four Israelis before fleeing the scene.

Paramedics from the Magen David Adom ambulance service reported that a 23-year-old man was rushed to Beilinson Hospital with a severe head injury. Additionally, a 46-year-old man was taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba in moderate condition, while two others sustained minor injuries.

Ynet reports that near checkpoint 109, close to Alfei Menashe, guards shot and killed a terrorist who attempted to attack them with a knife. It appears to be the same driver who struck the pedestrians near the village Kokhav Ya'ir.

Law enforcement agencies' press service announced the launch of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision with Israelis near Kokhav Ya'ir village. They are also probing suspicions of a terrorist attack.

Police stated that the perpetrator was a 26-year-old resident of Tira who was subsequently shot.

Authorities emphasize that this incident is clearly a terrorist attack and not an attempted breach of the checkpoint.
