Lidor Levy dies of wounds from Gan Yavne terror stabbing attack
Lidor Levy, a victim of the terror attack at a shopping center in Gan Yavne on Sunday, has passed away of his wounds at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. Doctors had been fighting for his life for several days, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Lidor Levi, a software engineer, was 34. He is survived by his pregnant wife, a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, parents, a brother, and a sister.
The terrorist stabbing attack was carried out by a 19-year-old Palestinian from Dura in the southern West Bank. Before the outbreak of the war, he had a work permit in Israel and worked as a construction worker. He remained illegally in Israel after all work permits for Palestinian Arabs were revoked due to the October 7 attacks.
The attacker was shot dead by security officers who responded to the scene.
