Benjamin Netanyahu concluded a phone call with US President Joe Biden and then convened a cabinet meeting to address national security concerns.
According to media reports, the meeting focuses on the threat posed by Iran, especially in light of reports implicating Israel in the elimination of IRGC generals in Damascus.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, "For many years, Iran has acted against us directly and through its proxies. In response, Israel has taken defensive and offensive measures against Iran and its proxies. We will defend ourselves, and our principle is clear: anyone who attacks us or plans to attack us will face consequences."
