Six Likud MPs have sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to convene a caucus meeting to discuss the potential for a deal with Hamas.

The letter, signed by Minister of Diaspora Amichai Chikli and deputies Moshe Saada, Tally Gotliv, Dan Illouz, Boaz Bismuth, and Ariel Kallner, highlights the importance of addressing the negotiations for a possible agreement.

"In light of the ongoing talks concerning a potential deal, which may not include the release of all abducted individuals but could involve the return of Gazans to the northern part of the strip, we believe it is crucial to hold a faction meeting to deliberate on such an agreement," the letter states.

Knesset member Moshe Saada emphasized that he would not support any deal unless it resulted in the release of all hostages, rather than just the return of Gazans to the northern part of the strip. "Such an agreement would not yield positive outcomes," Saada emphasized.

While the objections of Likud MPs do not directly influence the approval process for the deal, as that decision rests with the military-political cabinet, they could still impact the stance of the party's ministers.
