IDF kills three sons of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza City
According to the Hamas-affiliated Palestinian Information Center (PIC), three sons of the political leader of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh were killed as a result of an Israeli strike on a car in Gaza City's Shati Camp.
They are reportedly named Hazem, Amir, and Muhammad Haniyeh.
The PIC also reported the deaths of Ismail Haniyeh's grandson and two granddaughters – Amal (daughter of Hazem), Khalid (son of Amir), and Razan (daughter of Amir).
All of Ismail Haniyeh's sons were members of the Hamas terrorist organization.
"I am grateful to Allah for the honor He has bestowed upon us with the martyrdom of three of my sons and some grandchildren," Ismail Haniyeh said in a statement regarding the deaths of his sons and grandchildren.
Ismail Haniyeh has 13 children. He currently lives with some of his children in Qatar. In October 2023, 14 relatives of the Hamas leader, including his brother and nephew, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on his family's home in Gaza City. In November 2023, his granddaughter and grandson were killed in IDF airstrikes in Gaza City.
