IDF: Israeli Air Force strikes over 60 targets in Gaza, eliminates terrorist commanders
The IDF has confirmed that on Thursday, it eliminated Ridwan Mohammed Abdallah Ridwan, a Hamas military operative who was responsible for the terrorist organization's internal security operations in the area of Jabalya.
According to Shin Bet, under Radwan's orders, several trucks carrying humanitarian aid were seized by militants in the northern part of Gaza. "His elimination degrades Hamas' capabilities to attack and take control of humanitarian aid in the area of Jabalya," the IDF statement reads.
The IDF also reported that on Thursday, it eliminated Hamas military commander Hamed Muhammad Ali Ahmed, who was also responsible for the terror organization's internal security operations in the area of Jabalya. Another Hamas operative in the Jabalya Battalion was also killed.
Fighters from the 401st Iron Tracks Brigade and the 933rd Nahal Infantry Brigade, along with other units of the 162nd Division, continue the operation aimed at eliminating terrorists and destroying terrorist infrastructure in the central Gaza Strip. Over the past day, a number of terrorists have been eliminated in battles and airstrikes. Israeli forces discovered and destroyed underground launch posts in the area, as well as several ready-to-fire missile launchers. Military equipment belonging to the Islamic Jihad was also destroyed.
Over the past day, Israeli fighter jets struck over 60 terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including underground launch posts, military infrastructure, and military buildings where armed militants were operating.
The 215th Artillery Brigade "Amud HaEsh" targeted numerous objectives in the central Gaza Strip.
