IDF strikes targets in central Gaza overnight
On the night of April 12, the Israel Defense Forces continued to operate in the Gaza Strip. Only Gazan sources reported on the course of the hostilities at night.
The IDF struck targets in the center of the Strip. Battles in the vicinity of Nuseirat were reportedly unprecedentedly intense.
According to reports from Gaza, the fighting overnight was only in the central part of the Strip. Clashes took place near the Ad-Dawa mosque, north of Nuseirat. The IDF Air Force also struck targets in central Gaza. The IDF Air Force and artillery shelled targets in the north of Nuseirat. In addition, the IDF Air Force struck targets around the power station in central Gaza. The IDF artillery shelled the eastern part of the Bureij camp, the north of the Nuseirat camp, the Ad-Dawa area, the Muftiya area, the new Al-Mughraqa camp, and the Al-Zahraa area. The IDF artillery shelled targets north of Nuseirat again and in the Al-Maghazi camp. The troops also demolished homes north of Nuseirat. The IDF Air Force also attacked targets north of Nuseirat.
Gaza's Civil Defense, a Hamas structure, reported finding the remains of 13 killed in the Al-Balad and Al-Amal areas in Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the Strip.
The IDF has yet to comment on the fighting in Gaza on April 12.
