Herzog: Iranian attack was a declaration of war; we'll consider all options
Israeli President Isaac Herzog spoke with the British television company SkyNews following the unprecedented Iranian attack on Israel. When asked about Israel's response to the rocket attack, Herzog stated:
"Each of us wonders: what would you do if you faced such an aggressive attack as we experienced last night from across the Middle East? We were targeted by missiles, including ballistic, medium, and short-range missiles, as well as combat drones."
He continued, "This is a genuine conflict. Essentially, it's a declaration of war. However, despite the pressure and our capability to respond, and because we seek balance in our relationships with our partners, we will carefully consider all possible options. I'm confident that we will take the necessary steps to protect our people. We're not seeking war, I can assure you of that."
