Iran's attack on Israel: 99% of the 300 or so projectiles intercepted

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari says air defenses intercepted 99% of the 300 missiles fired by Iran at Israel overnight.

Military experts note that Israel demonstrated complete technological superiority over Iran.

The overwhelming majority of missile interceptors were launched from within Israel.

Hagari confirmed that minor damage was caused to infrastructure at Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel.

The New York Times, citing two Israeli sources, reported that overnight on April 14, Iran launched 185 armed drones, 36 cruise missiles, and 110 ballistic missiles towards Israel. The vast majority of launches originated from Iranian territory. In addition, launches were conducted from Iraq and Yemen. Israeli official informed The New York Times that "Israel's response to the Iranian attack will be coordinated with its allies."

Israel's Channel 12 TV notes that none of the Iranian armed drones or cruise missiles managed to reach Israel. They were either intercepted or fell in Iraq or Jordan.

Israel is gradually reopening its airspace. Many flights were previously delayed or canceled due to airspace closure during Iran's attack. The reopening of Israeli airspace may indicate that Israeli leadership does not plan an immediate military response to the massive attack by Iran.

Israel will await the outcome of the UN Security Council meeting and likely coordinate its further actions with allies, primarily the United States. Currently, all departures from Ben-Gurion Airport today are postponed. However, at 7:38, an Arkia Airlines plane landed in Israel, arriving on flight IZ 640 from Colombo (Sri Lanka) via Mahe (Seychelles).
