On Sunday morning, April 14, government ministers received a message announcing the cancellation of the weekly government meeting.
The official reason for canceling the government meeting has not been disclosed.
Last night, the security-political and war cabinet meetings took place.
Ministers of the security-political cabinet authorized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and Minister Benny Gantz to decide on further steps in the confrontation with Iran. Ministers Smotrich and Ben-Gvir voted against this decision.
"We have demonstrated impressive defensive capabilities. It's time to go on the offensive," Ben-Gvir wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
