New poll: Gantz's party gains over 30 seats, Sa'ar's party falls below electoral threshold
According to a new poll by the Maariv newspaper, if elections in the Knesset were held today, the parties of the current coalition would only secure 50 seats. However, the current opposition parties would not be able to obtain a majority (61 seats) without Ra'am.
The poll shows that Benny Gantz's National Unity party would receive the most seats, with 31. Likud would get 21 seats, opposition leader Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid would get 13 seats, Avigdor Liberman's Israel Beytenu would get 12 seats, the far-right Otzma Yehudit party and the religious party Shas would get 9 seats each, United Torah Judaism would get 7 seats, Hadash-Ta'al and the Arab party Ra'am would get 5 seats each, the left-wing party Meretz and Religious Zionist Party would get 4 seats each.
Parties such as the Israeli Labor Party, Gideon Sa'ar's New Hope party, and Palestinian left-wing party Balad wouldn't pass the electoral threshold.
