Over the past day, the IDF Air Force attacked dozens of terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. On the evening of Friday, April 19, the 215th Artillery Brigade Amud ha-Esh and the IDF Air Force, with the assistance of the Gaza Division, hit targets in the northern part of the Strip, including a launching pit in the area of Beit Hanoun, from which a rocket was launched towards Sderot.
As noted by the IDF spokesperson, this rocket was identified and intercepted by Israeli air defense systems.
